What's In The Inside That Matters.

There was a girl named Selena. Many people judge Selena for how she looked. She had dark brown hair and brown eyes. She had a few zits on her face. Her teeth looked like they were out of place when ever she smiled. her face was losing it's tan color she was also chubby and had big hips. Selena was a sweet girl. Sadly, Her looks prevent her from making friends. No boys wanted to ask her out. Even her parents can't stand her looks and would not want anything to do with her. Selena tried to get her self to look beautiful. She put makeup on and wear better clothing. Still no one did not even want to go near her and they only make fun of her and calling her names and they mostly say she is very ugly and no one will love her. Selana went on her Facebook hoping to make friends online without showing them her picture. She then came across a Facebook page that horrified her. The page was called Ugly Pig Slut Selena. Selena felt hurt from this and just closes her laptop and and went to the bridge. I was on my way home from a Soccer game when I saw a girl getting ready to jump in the river. I ran to her hoping to grab her in time. It was to late. She jumped in the river letting her self hit the water hard. I ran to the river as fast as i could and jumped in the water and was able to get her out. I called 911 for help and told me to stay with Selena. She opened her eyes and stared at me. She touched my cheek and smiled. I felt something warm and gentle in me when she smiled. She was asking me to hold her hand and to let her stay in my embrace. So I did what she asked me to do. Her last words were "Thank you for your compassion." and she slowly closed her eyes and stopped breathing. The ambulance came to late. I just sat there crying for a girl I wish I could've known in person. How I learned about is cuz we went to the same school. I saw how she was with animals when i walk by her. Her family who did nothing to help her. Told me of her story. I am telling you Selena's story is cuz I am hoping to reach out to people to get them to learn that Whats in the inside that matters.
