Sad To Say That Pokemon Movies Are Disappointing

I mean like the newer movies. Not the older ones. I think as for me. After Zoroark Master Of Illusions. The Pokemon Movies will had became....well bland. I mean. They have so much potential too create a good movie with the original Japanese trailers they created and yet they always end up changing it and making it completely different. I was excepting the new Pokemon movie to be mostly about the Mega Evolution Pokemon. But, Sadly. The poster kinda tricked me into thinking that. Talk about false advertisement. Yes i saw the movie. And the main Pokemon Diancie is suppose to be like a Princess and yet she doesn't really do much to help. I know she tries. But, Still. The movie i just skipped a lot cuz i just found it kinda boring. Though. I did like it when Pikachu became stone. But, Predictably. Pikachu was saved. The pokemon company needs to see that Pikachu is not the best Pokemon. Now. What i'm trying to say is. It feels like the writers for the movies are running out of ideas. I mean. The last movie with the Female Mewtwo failed to do character development. Their saying its a new Mewtwo. And yet the movie treated her like we knew her already. Its like they first planned to have the original Mewtwo show up. But, Then they decided to make a while new Mewtwo. But, They simply refused to do more development on her and focused more on the Genesects. I am glad they atleast had some development done. But, They should've done that for all the new characters. Now the movies don't even focused on Character development anymore. They even lack on making the story more interesting. I mean. With the older movies even the ones that don't have my favorite Pokemon in it did drive me into the story. The Entie Movie is one of my fav and Entie is not my fav. But, I still like Entie. The story was great in the movie. I loved how Entie tries to make a little girl happy after she lost her family and the near the end he learns that he has to let go and then help the little girl go back to the real world. I mean. Why doesn't the Pokemon company doesn't use the potential they have to make better plots for the movies anymore ? I know they ran out of ideas. But, Still. I do give the new movies a chance. Even though i said the 16th movie has character problems. It was still enough to make it on my list of Favorite Pokemon Movies. It is low on the list. But, It's still there. I just hope the next movie will at least be better.
