Why Some Reboots Work and Some Don't

As you noticed. Lots of movie companies have been doing more reboots then they have making up their own ideas. I usually say that its better for them to come up with their own movie ideas instead of copying everyone else. Witch is why it explains why I have not been liking very much new movies in the past few years mostly cuz most movies are just clones of each other now a days. Now. Here is the Hunger Games. Sure its based on a book. But, It still something new and fresh. New characters, New Story, And great music. Its been awhile since I had been excited to see these kinds of movies come out. It may not be a reboot. But, it still great. Lets talk about why some reboots are good. Now as for me to considered something a reboot. It would have to be based off a really old movie. Well maybe not that old. Anyways lets talk about Spiderman. As you remembered. I said I hated the first Amazing Spiderman movie. Why ? Cuz they pretty much rehash the original first movie and added stupid humor that is not funny. Here is and example "Oh no a knife my weakness." yeah. I don't see how that is funny .I know Spiderman is suppose to be funny. But, Not the kind of funny that only 5 year olds would laugh at. Now my problem is Andrew Garfield. He is not a bad actor. People seem to complain that hes to tall. A characters height in a movie should not matter as long as the character does not feel like hes been change. Andre Garfield makes Peter look like those Teenage wannabe boys who don't seem to care much about their school stuff. I know he does care. But, It sure does not feel like it. It really bugs me how Andrew portrayed Spiderman in the first movie. Also the Lizard in the movie was really ugly by removing his snout and lab coat. Sure I know I claim that I am more of a Venom fan. But, The Lizard is still one of my fav villains. Seeing him look like what he did in the movie was just sad. I don't mind that they had Gwen be Spidey's girl since Mary Jane does not show up until sometime in the later Sequels. The second movie how ever made up the problems that bothered me in the first movie. It had a better story. Andrew seem to improved. I still don't like him as Peter. But, He still did some good acting. It is a movie I would watch again cuz I actually enjoy it. So the reboot for the live action movie seems to be getting a little better. I can't say the same for the new cartoon though since it turned Spiderman into a freaking clown. Some reboots can get better over time witch is rarely. Now I want to point out Cinderella and Maleficent. Many people didn't like the idea of the old stories being remastered or being told and so they are going to say stuff like this. "Its not as good as the original." "The new actors are not as good as the original." "This movie is bad for making a story different." "This movie is going to ruin the original." OK those kind of comments kinda bother me. They were saying that about the new Cinderella movie before it even came out. How can you judge the movie like that if you had not seen it yet ? At least give it a chance. People complained that Maleficent was a bad movie cuz they are so stuck in the original so much. I saw the movie more the once cuz I loved it so much. I never did like the Original of Sleeping Beauty cuz its. The Prince goes and kills the villain and kisses the Princess to save the day crap. I heard it way to much now that I just find it boring. Maleficent made the story more better and interesting. For once it did not depend on the Prince saving the day witch I think is good. People need to learn that women can't always depend on men to save them. Its to bad Micheal Bay can't learn that lesson cuz he is so sexist towards women. See ? Some reboots can be good if done right. It can even turn a bad or boring movie into something amazing. Now lets get to why many Reboots don't work. Micheal Bay's Transformers. The first 3 movies bugged me mostly cuz its more about the stupid humans then the robots themselves even when their name is on the title. Nope. Instead we get an annoying screaming teenage boy who only loves his girls for their looks. His name is Sam. I hated this kid. He thinks screaming is going to save the day. I still wonder why the other Robots rather bring Same back to life instead of their own leader who can do more damaged then a screaming Teenage boy. I think the 4th movie was better cuz it does at least focus a little more on the robots. I still hated the human the characters. But, Their at least less annoying then Sam and his girlfriends. I still hated the fact that the father of would not let his Teenage daughter date all cuz he thinks she is going to have a baby even when you can tell she does not want that. They even made the daughter so weak. She claims she can kick this guys ass and yet she doesn't do so. Instead she lays on the ground crying as someone is pointing a gun to her. She could've at least got back up before the Gun was towards her head and punch the guy in the face. She can't even break a window to get out of car or just open the door to get out. She was told to run into the field. But, No. She just screams for her daddy to save her. I better stop talking about this before I wish i could punch Bay in the face even more. But, anyways. Most reboots seem to focus more on the side characters if the main ones are not humans. cuz looks seem to matter more. This made me angry more when they did that to TMNT. This is one of the worse movies I had ever seen. I still don't get why most people don't wake up and see that Megan Fox had more screen time then the Turtles themselves. I remembered they only showed up only 9 or more times in the movie. They focus more on Megan Fox hiding or complaining or just getting upset over something. They don't care if real fans are annoyed by that. They just cared that Megan Fox looks good. The other characters keeps pointing that out. The Humor of the movie is funny. But, its not enough to save it. Even bad reviews is not enough to stop it from getting sequels cuz only money is the thing that matters now. Even Megan Fox think that a movie getting lots of money is the only thing that matters cuz she told the critics to fuck off. That just shows how much of a shallow bitch she is. This reboot is awful. The Turtles looks awful and the story is awful and the characters except for the Turtles are awful and the effects are awful and everyone who is involved for making the movie is awful. I am counting the actors too. This is the worse reboot I had ever seen. Now for cartoon reboots. They mostly think making characters just stupid is the way to make it funny and interesting is enough. I don't need to explain much of it. Cuz I'll just end up talking about The Looney Tune Show and Teen Titans GO again and I don't want to explain them again. 

So anyways many reboots do fail to respect the original creators and keep the characters them same. Some reboots how ever do at least try to respect the original creators and sometimes make boring characters even more interesting. I am hoping that the 3rd Amazing Spiderman movie will also get better like the 2nd movie did. Its too bad that Sony cares more about Star Trek witch no one cares about anymore so we have to wait tell probably 2018. When will they see that no one cares about Star Trek anymore ?
